Kitty Mobile

A project from my 9th grade 3D Design Art class. This was similar to our Sun Face project, only we were making smaller figures out of clay and using them to form mobiles. I went with a kitty mobile design.

Unfortunately, this one isn’t in very great condition. One of the kitty heads from the lower ring fell off (as shown in the photo where I’m holding a detached kitty head in my hand), and the blue kitty from the upper ring had her ear broken off. :< At least I still have the ear itself (shown in the photo where I’m holding the ear in place), but I haven’t been able to successfully glue it back in place, since I don’t have the appropriate glue for it, I guess?

I have two other kitties that were broken, but they broke during class, so my teacher fixed them with some special glue of some kind (it’s the yellow-ish stuff you might see on one of their tails or something)

Anyway…my favorite kitties from the mobile are the blue one with the broken ear, the yellow cheerful one with the green eyes (that one is directly based on my character Sparx, lol), and the light greenish-blue one with the question mark hovering over it. Especially the blue one, though—that one was my absolute favorite, which is why it saddens me that its ear broke. :’< *sigh*
