This is part of my Music Theme Challenge!!!

....................GAH!!!!!! Dang it, how come I'm starting to obsess over this song??? ._.;;;; The odd thing is, until some weeks ago, I was annoyed to death of this song. I'd always skip it and go back to the beginning on my Green Day CD, 'cause I just didn't like that song. And now, I actually like this song. Weird.......... O_o;;; Anyways, the name of the song is "Whatsername." It's by Green Day, and yikes, I MUST like Green Day then if I keep liking so many of their songs..... O-o;;; Anyways, after listening to is so much, I had the urge to draw a pic for this song for my Music Theme Challenge thingy. I had a little bit of difficulty figuring out which charrie to use, 'cause I can think of several charries to use, both official and fan charries............ O-o;;; XDDD *Panned* BUT ANYWAYS, I decided that Shadow was best for this song, mostly 'cause I remembered about teh games, mostly Shadow The Hedgehog. I think that game is a pretty good example for this piccie, that is, if you play and pay attention to the hero missions and if you've passed the game 100% and passed the final ending and see what Shadow does at the end.

Alright, so if for some reason no one really knows what happens in the game, I'll tell ya a little bit of what happens, but ONLY the hero parts and the final parts, not the normal/dark mission storyline parts. I hate those storylines. TT Anyways, so in the beginning, you have Shadow just standing on some small hill in a field outside of Westopolis, of course, thinking to himself. At this point in the game, he still has amnesia, and is wondering how come the only thing he remembers is his name, and that gruesome memory of Maria being killed. He even wonders to himself who Maria is. And that's partially the reason why the song "Whatsername" kinda fits, right at the beginning. 'Cause of 'course, there's a lyric that goes, "I remember the face, but I can't recall the name," and there's the lyrics that goes, "She's in my head, I must confess, The regrets are useless in my mind, She's in my thoughts, From so long ago" and stuff.

Now, moving on, when you start doing the hero missions, with or without a few normal missions here and there in the game, Shadow starts finding out who Maria was, and, in one storyline, he feels terrible 'cause the Commander told him it was his fault that Maria died, and Shadow I guess somewhat believes it, that it was his fault and everything. The whole "regrets" thing in the song kinda fits along with that in that situation, in my opinion, I guess. XDDD;;;

And, all the way to the true ending, when Shadow says he'll leave his past behind him and stuffs, and then after the whole fight between him and Black Doom is done and overwith, in the very last scene, he's shown in the Space Colony Ark, holding a photograph of Maria and Professor Gerald Robotnik, and after taking a last look at it, he walks away and tosses the photo aside, which in my opinion, kinda fits pretty well with the lyrics "I made a point to burn all of the photographs" and "If my memory serves me right, I'll never turn back time, Forgetting you, but not the time."

But anyways, after looking at it that way, I kinda figured that the song matched. Minus a few parts here and there, of course. XDDD;;; But anyways, now to the actual pic. Well, ya wanna know something odd??? I drew this pic and colored it all only yesterday. o.o;;; I scanned it in today, and I used Paint to color the background with the Fill tool, which kinda gave that starry-night/space kinda look, I guess, which for once, I'm GLAD it came out that way. XDD;;; But I was having trouble with the text, so I used GIMP to add the Text, after hours of trying to figure out how the friggin' Text tool worked. @@;;;; Gah, and that's ALL I figured out how to use so far........ ;;; XDD I really need to go over those tutorials sometime when I get the chance to. ;; XDDD

But anyways, so while I was listening to the song "Whatsername," I just randomly had the urge to draw this, so I drew Shadow sitting on a staircase, staring at a photograph of Maria, and you can see that 'cause at the corner, that's what's he's looking at in the photo. XDDD;;; And he's just staring at the photo, kinda trying to figure out who Maria is and stuff. ;; Bleh, I suppose that's all there really is in this pic. XDDD Anywho, on to the lyrics!!! XDDD:
